Sorrow Strikes

May 7, 2010

Hello,

It has been a while since my last entry and I would like to say that this entry would be joyful but I am sorry to say that this entry will be a remembrance for a friend lost this past week. On Sunday evening my friend and companion for the past two years was bitten by a rattlesnake. When I realized what was going on he was taken to the vet on Monday morning and hospitalized for a couple of days. As each day passed his condition got worse. On Thursday morning I called and told he was shocky and blood was present in his stool, I left the house knowing the decision I had to make, it was not easy but it had to be made. After meeting with the vet and getting the updated word I spent time with Mister Juan Sequin and tried to comfort him, but I don’t think he was aware of me and was in pain that was deep. After moments with him I spoke with the vet and told them that he deserves respect and dignity and must be sent to a place where this no pain or worry. So the arrangements and papers signed and I joined my friend in a room where he was put to rest. I kept my hand on him until the end came and my heart broke and of the time of this entry it is still broke. So my friend Mister Sequin no longer shares this time with me in person but does share many happy memories with me. I was once told of a story about a “Rainbow Bridge” where one day I hope to cross and meet with him, Mister Bronx, Miss Brooklyn, Miss Marion and his mom Miss Ciboolo. Aplace where I shall bring the treats and cat nip and they can bring the love and purrs.

I wanted to share with you my friend Mister Juan Sequin born on May 9th 2008 and passed on May 5th 2010 a very short two years but a time where he touched my heart deeply. So the photos that follow are in honor of my friend. Enjoy the images presented and I hope they make you smile. Until the next time I wish for you happiness, joy and love! Pete

It has been so long since the last entry here, no excuses just lazy and could find nothing to say or share with you. I am deeply, deeply sorry for the silence.

It is the week of Fiesta here in San Antonio and a busy week for me @ work, many long hours ahead. Enough of work talk, will bore you with some photos from the last month. Until the next time take care and remember someone loves you in their heart. Love, Pete

Hi There!

Hope you are doing well and that your weekend has been kind to you. I have very little to share this day, so I won’t bother you with a lot of talk. I do have some images to share with you from this past week, they are varied but they are the ones that I like and wanted to share with you.

I hope that the coming week be kind, with many warm smiles and great moments. Until the next time, Love & Peace, Pete

Busy Days

March 11, 2010

Hi,

Again I find that I am falling behind in all kinds of things, and this blog is one of those things. Many happenings going on over the past few weeks. Just have been trying to get things back on track and having a difficult time doing it. Enough of that dribble.

The camera has been busy over the past few weeks, shot the bus roadeo last Saturday, a very long day, but got some good images. Went out to San Marcos to photograph the women’s softball team and that was a great day capped off with a win. Have been fostering in a way two strays which came onto the property and would not leave, just been one thing to another. Will try to share some of the better images with you today.

Again I find that I must ask for forgiveness for the long silence and will try harder from here on out. Well onto the photos, hope you enjoy the images. Until the next time, take care, stay safe, your loved!

I have been tagged as the “Official Photographer” for the Road-eo. Well I share a few images from yesterday and hope you like? Have a wonderful day, until the next time, keep a smile in your heart 🙂

Hello All,
I hope your week has gone well so far and that your Friday moves quick so that you may enjoy the weekend. I am looking forward to the weekend and time away from the mean streets of downtown.

Well I have some more photos from the CenturyLink tournament to share with you. I had a blast taking photos this past weekend, although the weather was less than perfect (cold, oh so cold!) But I had such a good time capturing some talented young ladies playing their game so well. On to the photos, hope you enjoy and see you back here soon. Have a great day and an awesome weekend!
